Amarillo College offers unique educational options in the form of continuing education classes and workforce development opportunities designed to meet the needs of business and industry, develop interpersonal soft skills, improve occupational competence, and/or advance employment. These courses also provide basic skills and knowledge essential to entry-level employment in several occupational fields. Instructors are selected on the basis of formal education and relevant work experience. They are knowledgeable in their fields and able to emphasize both the theoretical and practical aspects of their subject.

The College can customize instruction to meet specific requirements, and employers may select courses, seminars or workshops to complement their own training programs. Employers may elect to receive training at the worksite, at the Business & Industry Center, at any of the College’s other campuses, or at another suitable location.  Instructional content and training times are flexible.
