The Drafting Department at Amarillo College is devoted to state of the art quality education.

The Facilities in Our Department are high tech and use the latest releases of all software used in our program.

The faculty and staff in the Drafting Department are highly qualified in Autocad, Microstation, Inventor, Chief Architect and other Autodesk products.  Drafting Theory, Architectural and Mechanical applications are part of our curriculum.

We are also able to taylor courses to meet  specific Industry and local business requirements.

Three Degee options to choose from - AAS Degree, Drafting Technician Certificate, and Cad Specialist.

Departmental Goals:
The goal for the Drafting/CAD program at Amarillo College is to provide state of the art training and education for both Academic students and continuing education students.  We will strive to have faculty with the knowledge and expertise in drafting and CAD areas.  We will constantly have the most up-to-date software and equipment for training and classroom work.
