The Amarillo Zoo is seeking junior and adult volunteers who have a love and respect for animals and a passion for serving the visitors at the zoo. Zoo volunteers come from a wide range of backgrounds and bring a wealth of knowledge, experience, and skills to the zoo operations. Of course, no prior experience is necessary -- we'll teach you what you need to know! Whether you have just a few hours each month to spare, or are looking for a new avenue in life, there is a home for you at the Amarillo Zoo. 21st Century and Extended School Day After School Programs


 AISD is hiring Academic Mentor/Tutor Postions for the 21st Century and Extended School Day After School Programs

  • Work with at-risk children K-5th
  • Create a fun academic enviroment
  • Be a positive role model
  • Earn $10/hour, 3+ hrs a day

Outreach Center


 

If you have taken Math 1314 and done well, the Outreach Center here on Washington Street Campus is looking for student tutors.

You may work up to 20 hours a week at the going minimum wage. The Outreach Center is open many hours and can offer flexible work schedules.  Good communication skills with new math students essential.
