Grant/scholarships
Students with grants and scholarships awarded will have their enrollment protected on January 7th. Students with a remaining balance of their grant/scholarship funds after the payment of tuition/fees may charge books at the Amarillo College Bookstore from January 11th to February 3rd.
Loan
Students with a pending loan award will have their enrollment protected if loan funds are received by January 19th. Loan funds will be applied to students' accounts after records have been checked for eligibility.
Students must be enrolled in at least 6 credit hours at the time loan funds are disbursed to be eligible to receive loan funds. Failure to attend at least 6 credit hours during the semester will result in cancellation of a student's loan, and the student will be required to repay the entire loan to Amarillo College.
Students need to monitor WebAdvisor to determine if their loan awards have been changed from pending to active. Funds will only be available after the loan award has been activated.
For loan funds received by January 22nd, loan checks will be mailed approximately January 27th. Loan funds received after January 22nd will be disbursed approximately February 11th.
Students with active loan awards on WebAdvisor and credit on their accounts may charge books at the AC Bookstore through February 3rd.
Balances
Balances from grants/scholarships/late arriving loan funds will be MAILED approximately February 11th.
Be sure your mailing and email addresses are correct, and allow adequate mailing time from the Business Office. If you need to change your address, please complete and submit the Change in Student Information form with the Registrar's Office.
