Classified Employee of the Year

Must be completed by June 26, 2009.

Nominations for the Classified Employee of the Year will be based on the information received from the following factors. The nomination may include as many factors as are applicable, but at least five factors will be necessary in order to fully evaluate the nomination. Employees must be employed at least half-time to be considered for Classified Employee of the Year. Please do not contact your nominee as the selection committee wishes to keep all knowledge of this year's recipient confidential until the award is presented.

The completed form should be placed in a sealed envelope and submitted through campus mail to the President's Office or electronically on the website. (Note: Members of the selection committee are not eligible for this award.)

The Classified Employee of the Year Award Selection Committee will select up to five finalists based directly on the responses to the listed factors. Once the finalists are identified, the Committee may conduct interviews.

All responses will be held strictly confidential by the Committee in order to assure free flow of information to the Committee.

3. Examples of exceptional quality or volume of work including effective planning and organizing of work assignments.
4. Special activities that enhance the Amarillo College image with the community or students.
5. Innovative ideas that have changed or improved how things are done or have saved costs to the College.
6. Leadership skills or specific efforts toward teamwork among peers.
7. Other factors not listed.
