Being nominated for this award is an honor and validates that the nominated faculty member has made a significant contribution to teaching; therefore, the co-worker or student should consider the following areas when nominating a full-time faculty member:

• Service to the College
• Student and peer support
• Research, writing, exhibitions, and performances
