We are offering new classes this summer to help Kid's in the elementary ages get through the Summer slumps and keep them busy. These are the courses offered in the Summer of 2009 just for kids!

 

Hereford Branch Summer 2009

ART -

Learn about basic art principles and get a chance to make some fun art projects in a hands-on environment.

Art Camp K-2 - June 16 -19 - 10:00 AM to 11:30 AM

Art Camp Grades 3-4 June 16 – 19 – 1:00 PM to 2:30 PM

DANCE –

Need Ballet shoes and taps shoes the first day. Bring snack the first day of Camp

Princess Dance Camp (age 4-7) July 21-25 – 2:00 PM to 4:00 PM

Dancing Divas (age 8-12) July 21-July 25 – 4:00 PM to 6:00 PM

SCIENCE –

CHEMICAL REACTIONS-

We will freeze, explode, and heat up things. We will also discover the ph of the products and some other common substances. Also, students will understand lab safety.

July 7-11 – 1:00 PM to 3:00 PM

INSIDE A LIVING CELL –

Student will learn about cells parts and their functions. The students will also look at real cells under a microscope.

Grades 2-5 July 14-18 – 9:00 AM to 11:00 AM

Middle school July 7-11 – 9:00 AM to 11:00 AM

SPANISH -

The goal of this class is for your child to learn body parts, grammar, vocabulary, and much, much more, with the help of video tapes and songs. This class will make the experience of learning a new language fun and exciting.

Ages 4-6 - June 23 -26 – 12:00 PM to 2:00 PM

Ages 7-9 June 23-26 – 10:00 AM to 12:00 PM

Ages 10-13 June 23-26 – 8:00 AM to 10:00 AM

TUTORING –

Course Description: Improve your math or reading skills through an interactive computer program. Instructor will provide individualized instruction to meet the specific needs of each student. Class will consist of 8 (30 minute sessions) at the AC Hereford Campus and 16 home sessions to be done online.
