We offer a 6-hour Seatbelt/Child Safety (Occupant and Child Passenger Safety-OCPS) course that is approved by the Texas Education Agency and, with the permission of the court, meets the legal requirements for traffic ticket dismissal. This program also meets the requirements of the Texas State Board of Insurance for automobile insurance discount credit (if offered by your insurance agency). You will learn about traditional occupant safety information, but also Texas-specific rules and regulations like state seatbelt laws and child restraint regulations. The I DRIVE SAFELY course is the only state-approved online course in Texas. You will take several short multiple-choice quizzes in each chapter throughout the course. You must take and pass a final exam upon completion of the course. You must score 70 percent or more on the final exam before a Certificate of Completion will be processed or mailed to you.
