The Language, Communication and Fine Arts Division at Amarillo College includes thirteen departments/programs with 43 full-time faculty members.  It also includes a number of part-time faculty members who share their professional expertise with their students.  Classes are offered on four college campuses and online throughout Texas and beyond.

Numerous opportunities abound for students to participate in theatre performances, music ensembles such as the Concert Choir and the jazz ensemble, the AC Ranger and Current (college newspaper and magazine), the Freelancer (English Department publication of student writings), clubs and other organizations.

In addition to on-campus learning activities, students travel each year on choir trips, to music and theatre festivals, to professional meetings, and to meet with professionals in their fields in various locations.
