Moore County Campus
More than a decade ago, Amarillo College opened a local campus in Moore County and brought with it additional educational opportunities for Dumas and the surrounding communities. Since then, it has seen the integration of the QUEST program and the forming of partnerships with local business and industry groups. With the addition of the TRIO Student Support Services and the Testing Center; Amarillo College Moore County Campus has made it possible for students to have a more complete college experience.
There are also a number of student organizations, which students can be a part of, including: Lion’s club, P.E.A.C.E. Bible Club, and Student Government. Other activities for the enrichment of our students’ lives are: intramural sports and various service projects which are student led and college- sponsored. If you are new to the community or have never been to the campus, you are welcome to come and tour the facility and meet our staff. We would love to meet you and discuss your current and future educational goals.

Moore County Campus Career and Technical Training Center
On May 19, 2012, ground was officially broken for the much-anticipated $4.6 million Career and Technical Training Center at AC's Moore County Campus. The Career and Technical Center will consist of about 30,000 square feet of space and house classrooms, labs and shops that support the inclusion of career and technical programs into the expanding mission of AC Moore County Campus.
“This new facility, which was approved in 2011 by the Amarillo College Board of Regents, will not only allow us to develop partnerships with employers—leading to higher paying jobs—but we’ll also be able to develop partnerships with school districts in Dumas and Sunray.” ~Renee Vincent - Executive Director
