General Information

Get the training you need, to learn how to handle situations ranging from hazardous chemical releases, to air and water contamination with an Associates Degree in Applied Sciences, or a Certificate from Amarillo College.

Students can specialize in Hazardous Materials Technology, Industrial Hygiene, or Environmental Chemical Technology. SET concentrates on safety, environmental monitoring, government regulations, hazardous waste management, chemical control, wastewater treatment, landfill management, and hazardous chemical clean-up operations.

SET provides a format for technology that allows the student to gain current and pertinent information in the field. Instructors provide a format that encourages student participation.
