Mini-grant funds may be utilized by Amarillo College to identify solutions already working in other places and bringing that expertise to bear locally.

The 2007 Revised AC Strategic Plan calls for staff and faculty to "research and implement best practices in community college education" (7.3).   

Mini-grants provide the opportunity to fund research into best practices or pilot programs to address Strategic Plan priorities.
