New Student Orientation

New Student Orientation Registration Information

Getting the right information about going to college is important - and the sooner you get it the better.

Students enrolled in eight or more credit hours are required to attend New Student Orientation (NSO) prior to the beginning of their first semester or they will not be permitted to re-enroll until the requirement is fulfilled.

The Student Success program recommends that all incoming freshman sign up for a Badger Boot Camp session and a Learning Framework (PSYC 1200) OR Student Success (STSU 0211) course.

  • Learning Framework (PSYC 1200/EDUC 1200)
  • Student Success (STSU 0211)
  • Badger Boot Camp (only offered during the summer)

Students can fulfill their NSO requirement by registering for and completing any of the following:

*Special NSO sessions are offered for disAbility Services students by the disAbility Services staff.  Please call (806) 371-5436 for more information.

*For students with 12 or more transfer hours, please call (806) 371-5440 to verify transfer exemption.
