May 23 Concert with Amarillo Symphony

Globe News Center

The Amarillo Symphony is excited to partner with the Amarillo Ronald McDonald House's 25th Anniversary Celebration Concert, and the Amarillo College Suzuki String Program is honored to be asked to participate in the program!  This will be the first time in the history of our program that a group of Suzuki students will be accompanied by the Amarillo Symphony.

 UPDATED INFO FOR STUDENT PARTICIPANTS:

Fri 5/22/09 Dress Rehearsal at the Globe News Center

**Arrive by 6:45 PM to tune - we are the first student group to rehearse!

Enter the Performers Entrance at the Northwest corner of the building; go up the stairs to the dressing room in the northwest corner of the 2nd floor. Unpack and tune in this area; cases can be left here for the evening. Parents should pick up their children at this room after our portion of the rehearsal is finished. .

Sat 5/23/09 Globe News Center

** Arrive by 7:10 PM to tune

Concert begins at 7:30 PM.  Again, enter the Performers Entrance at the Northwest corner of the building; go up the stairs to the same dressing room in the northwest corner of the 2nd floor. Unpack and tune in this area; cases can be left here for the evening. Parents should pick up their children at this room either during the intermission or at the end of the concert. Please remember that most of our Suzuki teachers will be rehearsing and performing with the Symphony for this event and will not be available to supervise children. Bailey Smith will to stay with younger students in the dressing room area so plan to meet ALL 6th grade and younger children at the dressing room to avoid confusion. We want everyone to stay comfy and safe during this event J
