There is a nominal tuition cost to participate in the Adams Earn & Learn Program. Participants receive paychecks from their employer during the course of their work-based learning experience. Financial aid and grants are available for those who are eligible.
No. As long as you are enrolled in E&L, it does not matter if you are enrolled for academic credit, non-credit, part-time or full-time.
A commitment of 12-24 months is expected. This will vary based on successful progression through the program. Some candidates may take 2 years to complete E&L.
Each candidate must work at least 19 hours per week. 25-30+ hours is preferred in order to maximize the immersive experience that work-based learning provides.
E&L candidates must be 17 years or older. There is no upper age limit.
All experience levels are encouraged to apply, however, it is recommended that applicants have completed foundational coursework related to their program of study and/or completed the online Adams Earn & Learn Program Boot Camp. Will have a side tab for boot camps and link to it.
The amount of CEU's you receive varies based on industry workforce certificates.
E&L candidates usually work 20 hours per week and employers don’t typically pay benefits to part-time employees, but this may vary depending on the employer.
