Gregg’s friends, family and colleagues at Amarillo National Bank, where he was employed for 33 years, paid tribute to him on June 7th when they gathered at AC to present checks totaling $25,000.
The money, which was primarily generated through a successful 5K walk/run and wine-tasting event – among Gregg’s most cherished activities – will be used to establish the Gregg Jordan Memorial Scholarship within the AC Foundation.
“The impact of this gift will have both short-term and long-term implications of a very positive nature,” Dr. Russell Lowery-Hart, AC president, said. “It is an honor for us to remember and be a part of Gregg’s legacy.”
