As a prelude to that initiative, AC and Holland are offering a stand-alone Growth Conference on Friday, Feb. 9, featuring 10 distinguished speakers, including the host, Holland, who is the preferred leadership trainer of some of the highest-profile companies in the Amarillo area.

The Growth Conference is from 9 a.m. to 4:30 p.m. at Amarillo College’s Downtown Campus. The cost is $100; however, optional VIP tickets are priced at $250 and include lunch with the speakers and a private, one-hour tutorial with a speaker of choice.

The conference is described on the website as follows: Learn 10 secrets to take control of your life and business immediately. By the end of this event, you will unlock your potential, raise your income, build your confidence, and balance your life with purpose, passion, and possibility.

Holland is the author of 16 books and has been the keynote speaker at more than 300 conferences. He has trained more than 300,000 participants on topics ranging from leadership to sales to personal development.

The Growth Conference is an auspicious prelude to AC’s Learn-2-Lead program, featuring 12 monthly sessions beginning March 20. Also hosted by Holland at the Downtown Campus, each Learn-2-Lead session will have a singular focus.

The sessions are: Management Versus Leadership; Values Based Diversity; Communication; Coaching; Conflict Resolution; Corrective Counseling; Goal Setting; Problem Solving; Group Decision Making; High Performance Teams; Ethics, Values and Culture; and Priority Management.
