The event is free and open to the first 50 women who register. It is from 8 a.m. to 2:45 p.m. and includes breakfast, lunch and a great deal of active participation.
Participants will engage in intensive career exploration that includes hands-on seminars related to occupations in machining, welding, instrumentation, diesel and automotive technology, truck driving, fire prevention and more.
Representatives from industry partners like Pantex, Amarillo Gear, Premier Truck Group and the Amarillo Economic Development Corporation will be on hand to lend insight into their respective industries and their experiences as women in industry.
