Because of uncertainties caused by COVID-19 (Coronavirus), Amarillo College has made the decision to suspend its Kids College camps and classes, as well as all its Community Enrichment classes, until further notice.

KidsCollegeINThe safety of participants and instructors was the foremost factor used in reaching the decision to suspend these popular summertime activities.


The College, which is considered essential by the city of Amarillo, has remained open throughout this COVID-19 crisis, but with the bare minimum of on-campus staff members reporting physically to work. To conduct non-essential, in-person camps and classes has been deemed untenable.


Some online options are presently being studied as possible alternatives, however, and AC invites anyone interested to check for updates at the Continuing Education website:
