The Emergency Management Team is comprised of people in positions of leadership at AC campuses who have been charged with formulating strategies to maximize AC’s emergency preparedness and overall safety.

 

 

We meet monthly and our focus revolves around three particular areas of Emergency Management: How prepared we are as a College … What our response will be to a given emergency …. What actions we can take to recover from an emergency situation.

The team also discusses potential safety issues that might affect the College community.

Ultimately, the Emergency Management Team makes recommendations to the President’s Cabinet about any policy, planning or training needs that we’ve identified as opportunities to minimize the effects of disasters and maximize our overall safety.
