Gary has found his passion, which is giving motivational training sessions to individuals and companies to help them realize their potential and achieve higher levels of performance. He has honed his presentations skills over the years by presenting to many important and high level ranking officials such as Senators, two Secretaries of Energy, numerous Four Star Generals, and other high ranking Pentagon officials.
Gary has over 30 years of experience at different supervisory levels of supervision (20 as an executive manager) including Vice President and plant manager of a Fortune 500 company. He has had significant training and experience with the application of Six Sigma (Process Improvement). Gallup recognized Gary’s management style as one of the best, as he was rated in the 97th percentile in Gallup’s worldwide database in regard to being an excellent top rated performing supervisor.
He has an Engineering Technology degree as well as an MBA from West Texas A&M University.
Whitney Kelly began his teaching career over twenty-five years ago at WTAMU. Since then he has taught for Amarillo College, Corporate Systems, AIG, and a side variety of companies throughout the Panhandle and the country. He specializes in teaching end-user office software, customized personnel training, and management improvement. He has helped companies implement new software, coached salesmen to improve their presentation skills, worked with groups within a company to improve communication and teamwork, and created improved methods of customer service for many companies.
Mr. Kelly’s degrees are in English literature and instructional design, and he is certified to teach Achieve Global and Development Dimensions International curricula. He will work with your company to ensure your training is customized to the meet the needs of your company, provide measurable outcomes, and positively affect your bottom line.
Gay Mills began her teaching career at Amarillo College in the Office Education Department. She was on staff as a supplemental instructor for West Texas A&M University teaching Business Communications. Ms. Mills has enjoyed interacting with students and instructors over the years as well as habing served on many committees at AC.
Her skills have been utilized as a customized contract trainer within Continuing Education, Workforce Development. She has served as Professor and Program Chair for the Office Administration Department. Her forte is teaching Professional Development, various business machine classes, Business English and Communication, Keyboarding and critical office skills.
Carol Carter has enjoyed teaching Amarillo students for over 40 years. After earning both a Bachelor’s and Masters of Business Education degree from WT, Carol began her teaching career at Palo Duro High School. She has also taught at Texas State Technical Institute, Amarillo High School and Amarillo College.
In addition to teaching, Carol also has several years of experience in the oil and gas industry as an office employee, and is currently employed by Tascosa Land Resources, LLC in the accounting department. While working in public high schools and AC, she has instructed students in office skills and accounting basics, and currently teaches Accounting w/QuickBooks in the Continuing Education program and Accounting and Microsoft Office Suite skills in the academic program.
Bryan brings an impressive history of career excellence. After earning his B.A. and MBA from St. Edwards University in Austin, he’s run numerous multi-million dollar projects for major companies such as Ford Motor Company, Knotts Berry Farm, John Deere, XCEL Energy and HDR. Additionally, he has completed an extensive list of professional development courses with a strong emphasis on project management, leadership and best practices.
Mr. Cook teaches Project Management Fundamentals as well as the Project Management Certification Preparation course. Bryan has a passion for teaching. His ultimate gift is his willingness to share his knowledge. Whether he’s in slacks and a suit coat teaching Project Management, or boots and jeans teaching kids horsemanship skills, he finds joy in teaching.
Bryan’s rodeo career began while growing up on a ranch near Odessa, TX. After competing in high school and college rodeos, he joined the Professional Rodeo Cowboy Association and began his stint in rough stock events. Following a severe injury, it became apparent for his long term career to focus on roping skills. Countless awards, buckles, and saddles later, Bryan is still at it every day keeping himself and his horses in peak shape to get to the next competition.
Lorena is a staff accountant at Brosier & Buchanan Partners, Certified Public Accountants and has held this position for the last 15 years. She is also an instructor of continuing education classes at Amarillo College teaching Accounting/Bookkeeping and Payroll including QuickBooks. Before being a staff accountant, Lorena was employed in the banking industry for approximately 13 years holding many positions including teller, loan secretary, loan reviewer and commercial loan platform trainer. Lorena is very passionate about accounting and teaching. She feels very blessed to be able to do both.
Kim Dyson is a corporate trainer and program developer with many years of experience providing outstanding trainings for managers and employees in government, education, business, ministry and non-profit sectors. With extensive experience creating programs, Kim has delivered career workshops which include Leadership, Coaching, Customer Service, Office and Business Etiquette, Business Communication, Relational Wellness, Stress Management, Time Management and various computer program applications. Kim has trained leaders from across the U.S. as a Master Trainer for Family Wellness, a California based organization serving the military, educators, government, non-profit organizations, communities and families. Her strength comes through her unique ability to use her business and personal experiences to understand the knowledge and skills her participants need to increase their performance, productivity, emotional wellness and quality of life.
Kim currently works for Ben E. Keith as Applications Support Specialist, train customers on all program applications, recipe costing, inventory valuation, business reports, etc. She provides training for the BEK sales force and management and is currently working with several large chains developing and training order and inventory programs. Kim works with the corporate office developing and implementing new programs.
When selected to lead a State of Texas initiative to provide healthy relationship education throughout the Texas Panhandle, she used her strong writing, marketing, and organizational skills to develop a 400 member volunteer network to assist with the delivery of programming. She is a certified trainer for PREP-WOR, Essential Disciplines, PICK and Saving Your Marriage Before It Starts.
