Covers irrigation history and current trends, principles and hydraulics, components, design with a focus on water conservation, installation and maintenance techniques, terminology, Texas Irrigator Rules and Regulations. Preparation for the Texas State Irrigators Exam. Exam may be taken 14 days after class to allow for reporting. There is an additional fee for the exam. Textbook included; students will need a basic calculator, pen and paper. Approved by the Texas Commission of EnvironmentalQuality (TCEQ) for 40 hours of continuing education credit.Refunds: Due to fixed costs for this course, no refunds will be given after the Registration Deadline.
