A Star in Making (Ages 14-18) $109.00

Designed for the older student to assist them in auditioning, getting callbacks, preparing for life in the professional business, and creating Rep. Books. BANG! CRASH! POW! (Ages 7-10) $109.00

This camp is designed to allow students to be introduced to theatre concepts and techniques such as staging, blocking, and learning universal theatre terms. Learning is based through games and sessions with a Superhero theme and concludes with a production on Friday that allows each camper to perform as their favorite superhero. Drama and Music Camp (G 3-6) $109.00

This is a highly dynamic, wonderful introduction to the empowering nature of music and theater. Students will learn about the elements of creating a performance on stage, including voice projection, singing and character development. The students will perform a minimusical at the conclusion of the week. Amarillo College Kid's Camps at Ascension Academy have supervised mid-morning/afternoon snack breaks. Please send snacks with your child for snack time. Camp grade ranges are designed for students entering specified Grades this fall. A supervised lunch hour with fun activities from 12 to 1 P.M. will be provided for students who register for both morning and afternoon camps. Please send a packed lunch with student. Register early! Camp size limited to 16 students. Directions to Ascension Academy: From I-40, head south on Soncy Street. Turn west on 45th Avenue. (Drive between Academy Sports and Outdoors and Street Toyota). Dress Up Drama (Grades K-2) $109.00

All it takes to change your adventure is to change your costume! Join us as we create short skits, build props, scenery, and dress for the role. The week will conclude with a short presentation for friends and family to observe their budding stars in action on Friday at 11:30AM.
