FAQs

• The Underground is a computer lab and study space available to the Amarillo College, and provides small and large study rooms complete with whiteboards for students.
• Rooms are limited, so they're available on a first come first served basis. We do ask students to be mindful of others studying. The study rooms are not soundproof.
• Eating and open containers are prohibited in the main computer lab. We do have a central area available with tables. Food is okay around the lab space, at the tables and rooms.

Need access to specific software for your class?

• We have computers ready with AutoCAD and engineering software, Adobe, plus most of the programs for design and VFX students.
• Respondus LockDown Browser app for exams is available upon request.
• Besides a variety of computers available for use, students have access to calculators and printers to copy and scan.

If you have any further questions, we will always have someone here at the counter to assist with general help and basic computer issues or questions.
