Registration Instructions


  1. Log on to
  2. Click on “AC Connect,”  left hand side of the page. 
  3. Enter your user name (ACNetID) and password. If you have never logged in to the site, or have forgotten your ACNetID and/or password, click on the  red "HELP" button. Enter the required information, create a password, and answer the security questions.  If the AC system cannot identify you, this is an indicaton that you have not completed an application for admission or AC is missing important information. Complete the Application for Admission at or call AskAC at 371-5000 to correct your record. 
  4. Once you get into AC Connect, look at the Self Serve menu on the lower right side of the screen. Select the Current Student bar. 
  5. Click on "Registration", select Register for Sections.
  6. Select Express Registration.
  7. Input the 6 digit course ID/Synonym in the first column. Leave all other columns blank. Your high school should provide you with the ID numbers for your courses or go to Course Offerings by School on the Dual Credit Webpage,
  8. Click Submit at the bottom of the page.
  9. On the next screen, Register and Drop, click on the drop down menu in the Action column. Click on the Register option. Do this for each class.
  10. Click Submit at the bottom of the page.

 You may get an error at this point. If the error says:

  • Anything about pre-requisites, you have probably not submitted College Readiness scores or tested to meet TSI requirements. Scores may be faxed to 371-5066 or 345-5504, or emailed to Or, talk to your high school counselor.
  •  If the system cannot uniquely identify you, either you do not have an application in the system, or, some of the information does not match; i.e., social security number or date of birth.
  • You may get “Class name and section - Cannot register for Dual Credit, Honors or VCT classes here” message. This means that you are not coded as dual credit. You will have to call AskAC at 371-5000. They can change the code.
If the application error occurs, you can complete an application for admission by clicking here. It takes at least 24-48 hours for the application to be  processed. After that amount of time, try again to register.
If the testing error occurs, you need to submit your scores to Amarillo College. You will not be able to register until the scores are in or until you have taken the TSI Assessment.
  1. The “Registration Results” screen will appear. If the classes listed are correct, click “Okay” at the bottom of the page.

  2. Registration is complete.

  3. Classes must be paid for.  You may go back to the “Current Student” page and select "Financial Information + Make a Payment” to pay by credit card or check. Or, you may call 806-371-5000 to pay by phone, credit card only. Or, you may pay in person on any of the Amarillo College campuses.
