I have not received financial aid before, why am I on financial aid suspension?

All student's who are applying for Financial Aid must meet Amarillo College's Satisfactory Academic Progress (SAP) policy. Your full academic record will be evaluated, including the following items.

2.0 grade point average (GPA)
80% completion rate of the courses for which he/she have enrolled.
The number of hours the student attempted cannot exceed 150% of the published length of the student's current major.
