How to apply for American Rescue Plan Stimulus Emergency Assistance

Due to limited ARP funding available, Amarillo College has closed applications for spring 2022 student emergency aid as of 2:30 PM 2/14/2022. For campus assistance, please contact the Advocacy & Resource Center at thearc@actx.edu to check your eligibility for additional resources.

Amarillo College is proud to offer a one-time American Rescue Plan (ARP) Stimulus Student Emergency Assistance award to currently enrolled AC students. Funding for this project is provided by the ARP Stimulus bill authorized by the US Department of Education. Students may receive a stimulus emergency assistance award to support expenses related to technology required for remote learning; buy groceries; paying rent and/or utility bills; paying childcare expenses; supporting healthcare and mental healthcare costs; and tuition and fees.
