Financial Aid Night

Financial aid specialists will be assembled in force at Amarillo College’s Community Link on Thursday, April 16 to offer free assistance to anyone seeking federal financial aid to attend college.

AC’s Financial Aid Night begins at 6 p.m. at Community Link, 2412 N. Grand Street. Visitors will receive assistance from financial aid specialists with filling out the free application for federal student aid known as FAFSA.

In addition to helping everyone to apply for Pell Grants, AC staff will be available to help prospective students enroll at Amarillo College by completing the application for admissions and the initial placement testing activity.

Valuable information about the Adult Services Program at AC, which provides eligible students with assistance paying for tuition, childcare, transportation and textbooks, will also be available for parents that wish to start/return to college.

To begin the financial aid or admissions process, students are asked to bring their own 2014 tax returns and, for those under the age of 24 who are unmarried and do not have children, the 2014 tax returns of their parents.

Everyone is welcome at AC’s Financial Aid Night, even those who simply want to learn more about the many benefits of a college education.
