As part of the Amarillo College Mentoring Program, the Community Mentor Program connects returning students with a professional, or “Community Coach,” in a field related to their major.  Community Coaches provide a career development opportunity through job shadows, informational interviews and networking.  This program is a partnership between Amarillo College and the Amarillo Women’s Network/Amarillo Rotary Clubs.

  • Students in the Community Mentor Program are called Protégés.   Protégés are returning Amarillo College students (second year and above).
  • Mentors in the Community Mentor Program are called Community Coaches. Community Coaches are professionals in the Amarillo community able to provide hands-on insight into their career path.
