Recording Arts

AC’s program focuses on all aspects of sound engineering, including instruction in Pro Tools, the digital software composing/editing program created by Avid Technology. AC is the only AVID Learning Partner in the Texas Panhandle, and hands-on AVID user training is open to students pursing an Associate Degree, a Mass Media Certificate – Recording Arts Option, or as stand-alone training. Mastery of Pro Tools is considered the industry standard audio-production platform.
