"Outside of a dog, a book is a man's best friend. Inside of a dog, it's too dark to read."

Groucho Marx

What she likes most about teaching is when the light bulb comes on and she sees students get excited and apply the skills they have learned in class.  Jill is certain that communication is the key to professional and personal success.  Plus, she says, "Speech classes are fun!"  Jill was born in Los Angeles, CA and grew up in Albuquerque, NM.  She obtained her Bachelor of Arts degree in English and Drama from Stanford University.  She also went to Northwestern University where she obtained an M.A degree in Broadcast Journalism and completed 18 graduate hours in Speech at West Texas A&M University.

In her spare time, Jill loves spending time with her family, reading, painting, making jewelry and other crafts. She admits she also likes gossiping, sleeping, and playing with her dogs. Her favorite T.V show is Breaking Bad.
