Take part in our first SGA Take Home Series! Pick up supplies to make a box stitch keychain and join us on zoom for a live How-To session!

Pick up your supplies at The Clock Tower on Thursday, September 3rd between 11:45 a.m. and 12:30 p.m.

Then be sure you join in on Friday to complete your keychain with SGA!

AC Student Life is hosting a Blood Drive on Tuesday, September 8^th and Wednesday, September 9^th. The Bloodmobile will be on Washington Street Campus from 10:15 a.m. to 3:30 p.m. both days. You can make an appointment by calling 806-331-8833 or visiting yourbloodinstitute.org. Appointments are helpful, but not necessary! Donors will recieve a gift from Coffee Memorial. 

 

 

Badgers are there for other badgers and your SGA wants to help by giving back to YOU. Students can come get a box full items we believe every Badger needs to be successful. The boxes will include things such as shampoo, body wash, food, and other useful items.

SGA will be at the Washington Street Clock Tower on Tuesday, September 8^th from 11:45 am to 12:30 pm.

Amarillo College was founded in 1929 and to celebrate this we are having our "1929 Challenge".  To participate, sign up on IMLeagues.com and download the Strava app to your phone and join the AC Intramural Club.  Then sometime between Monday, September 14th and Thursday, September 17th while using the Strava app run as far as you can for 1,929 seconds (32 minutes and 9 seconds).  Whoever can run the furthest in this amount of time will win the prize.  Get your running shoes laced up and go give this challenge a try.  Open and free to all AC students.

It happens. We know it does. The statisics show that far too many people have been victims of social injustices such as discrimination. Your Student Government Association wants to share the statistics. Join them on Tuesday, September 15th between 11:00 a.m. and 12:30 p.m. at the Clock Tower and learn more about the discrimination faced by individuals.

Learn more about our new organization, Black Student Union!

Show us your QB skills in this football passing contest.  You get two attempts to pass the ball through the backboard.  If you make one you get to keep passing until you miss.  Every attempt you make you get a point.  Who ever makes the most points wins a prize.  This event is open and free to all AC students.
