Tai Chi and Qi Gong. Learn the free flowing Tibetan style of meditation in motion. Basic concepts of Chi, Yin Yang, and eastern philosophy are addressed. The health aspects of breathing, balance, the brain, body work, and beauty are emphasized. This class is a great option for any teens that can't find a class that fits their skill level or age group. We hope this allows teens to practice and learn more in regards to power tumbling and trampoline skills. We will not teach bars or beam skills in this class. If you are interested in all-around for your teen please call the office to set up a level evaluation. Leotards are recommended but not required. Sports attire is best with no baggy clothing that can get caught on hands, feet or equipment. Parents are not allowed in the gym during classes but are more than welcome to sit in the lobby. Designed to provide the learner with cognitive knowledge and psychomotor skills. The trauma nursing process is reflected throughout the course and skills stations. Participants receive 18.3 CNE contact hours, with 3.3 online, of continuing education from the ANA. The sixth edition of the TNCC provider manual is required. This clinic is offered on Saturday only from 9:00 AM - 12:00 PM. During our Tumbling and Back Handspring Clinic we will be teaching ages 6-17 the steps and skills to learn how to do a back handspring and/or back walkover. We do ask that kids know the basic skills of gymnastics and can hold their bridge with their head off the floor. By the end of the clinic kids may not have a back handspring by themselves but will know the proper form and technique of the skill. We will not be providing lunch but encourage students to bring a water bottle and snacks (no peanuts) as we will take a few breaks. Required attire is athletic-wear. Leotards are encouraged but not required. We only ask that your child does not show up in baggy clothing or jeans. Shorts, tights, tank tops and t-shirts are best. Each child will be barefoot and we will have cubbies for their shoes and other belongings. You must walk your child in and complete a release form. Parents will not be allowed in the gym but are more than welcome to sit in the lobby or do drop-off/pick-up. Please call our office at 806-356-3668 for any questions.

"Prerequisite: Completion of Watercolor I or instructor approval" Beginners learn the basics; experienced painters can challenge their comfort zones during this studio time. Everyone is given the opportunity to explore the dynamic world of watercolor. In this low stress environment, you are encouraged to develop your own style at your own pace as we try different techniques and materials.
