VFX: A Case Study 1$99

Join in on the outstanding opportunity to witness the process of post-production visual effects (VFX) on an actual film starring Beau and Emily Bridges entitled "Acting: The First Six Lessons". In these 4 classes, David Shapiro, owner of the film's production company, will join the class live to walk students through the various VFX skills used to transport the actors from a green screen in present day Florida to Depression-era Central Park and the observation deck of the Empire State Building. Students will be able to ask questions and interact with Mr. Shapiro as he explains the various VFX skills used for the film such as Rotoscoping, 3D Modeling and Lighting and Rendering. Classes will be held in an online platform, similar to Zoom from 6:00 PM - 8:00 PM. Classes will be on Tuesday evenings 3/23, 3/30, 4/6 & 4/13. Link to course will be sent by March 19, 2021 to the email provided when registering for class. All students enrolling in this class must have access to a working computer, active and functioning internet service, and be familiar with operating a computer. In these 4 classes, David Shapiro, owner of the film's production company, will join the class live to walk students through the various VFX skills. Students will be able to ask questions and interact with Mr. Shapiro as he explains the various VFX skills used for the film such as Rotoscoping, 3D Modeling and Lighting and Rendering.
