This course will prepare participants for entry posisiton as Behavioral Health or Mental Health Technician/Aide. Learn knowledge and skills necessary to effectively promote enpathy, support, and healing when working with people diagnosed with a mental illness. Will gain person-centeredness, a working knowledge of mental health diagnosis and care of the whole person. This course also includes 3 8-hour clinical shifts in a facility. *In person registration required. high School diploma or GED requied, as well as Background check, drug screen and proof of required immunizations.
