Babysitting 101 (Grades 6-8)$109

This course provides training for adolescents/teens to become successful, safe and medically responsible caregivers. Basic responsibilities, child development stages, accident prevention and emergency procedures are covered in class through interactive role-playing, hands-on training, and group participation. Amarillo College Kids' College at AmTech includes supervised mid-morning and mid-afternoon snack breaks. Please send a snack with your child each day. Camps are designed for students entering the specified grades this fall. A supervised lunch hour with fun activities will be provided from 12 to 1 PM for students attending both morning and afternoon camps. Please send a packed lunch with your child. Register early! Camp sizes are limited. Directions to AmTech: From I-40, head north on Western Street and turn east onto Plains Boulevard.
