This class will help birdwatchers learn more about understanding and identifying birds of the Texas Panhandle as well as interesting places to bird. The class will involve both classroom instruction and optional birding field trips. To get the most out of the field trips, we encourage you to have a pair of birding binoculars (generally size 8 x 42 is used by most birders) available to you for use on the field trips. The six classroom meeting dates are August 26, September 2, 9, 16, 23, and 30th. Saturday morning field trips are to be determined.
