Draftsperson

Job Purpose: Reports directly to the Design Manager and is responsible for the creation and completion of drawings needed for updates, presentations and construction.

Duties and Responsibilities:

• Ability to interpret engineering plans/specs and translate into detailed drawings
• Ability to research manufacturer catalogs
• Assist with site dimensional surveys
• Prepare presentation drawings
• Perform drawing updates
• Ensure compliance with Company Policies and Safety Procedures

Requirements:

• An associate degree in Computer-Aided Drafting and Design is preferred; however, will consider candidate working towards a degree
• Working knowledge of AutoCAD and Microsoft Office, including Excel and Word
• Good communication skills and ability to work in a team design environment
• Familiarity with 3D modeling and reading Process and Instrumentation Diagrams is a plus
