Come learn how drones can be used to get amazing pictures and videos in this introduction to the evolving world of unmanned aerial photography. Drone operations will be explored through classroom instruction and actual flight operations. World of Manufacturing G 9-12$95

Required: Long pants, preferably jeans, a short-sleeved t-shirt, and closed toe shoes. There will be a brief introduction and safety instructions for the machine and welding shop. Afterward, students will begin the process of making projects in both the weld and machine shops. In the weld shop, students will get to cut metal with a torch, use the CNC plasma table to make a small project, and if time allows, possibly get to watch the welding process through a welding hood. In the machine shop, students will make an aluminum top on the lathe, and depending on time and student's skill level, possibly create some shapes on the vertical band saw.
