Course Description: This researched and evidence-based course is equivalent to a 12-plus hour classroom course and is a powerful and unique cognitive lifeskills program.
This course is for the parent only, whereas our Youth/Parent Cognitive Lifeskills for Home Study is for both the youth and parent to complete together.
This workbook helps parents overcome faulty thinking errors and self-defeating behaviors. The best way to help children to change is to help parents change. This workbook could help any parent, because no parent is perfect. However, it was developed specifically for parents dealing with problems from truancy issues to the damage of domestic violence.
All the information and skills in this course, even if not needed now, can be used later or to help others be more effective parents. This is a versatile workbook designed for a wide variety of parenting issues, including: truancy, neglect, abuse, addictions, anger/violence, anxiety/emotions, self-deception, and parenting skills.
This course is not a half-hearted attempt at solving a serious problem – it is based on science and research that can help lift people to a higher level of self-awareness. This parenting workbook is not a force but an invitation to change, and many parents will change if given the chance.
