Fencing
Amarillo College has fencing classes for all ages and every skill level. Beginning students learn the basic principles of the modern sport and are introduced to the basic techniques of the foil and the epee and, in some cases, the sabre. More experienced students and competitive fencers participate in drills that lead to competitive bouting. Both one-on-one instruction and group lessons are common.
Fencing is fast, fun and athletic. The sport is performed on a strip approximately 6 feet wide by 40 feet long. Fencing is scored electronically.
AC fencing instructors are professional members of USA Fencing.
