Theatre Step #1: The Beginning (ages 8-11)
A class perfect for the beginning actor. Included in the curriculum: the language of the theatre; introduction to character development; character voice and movement studies; script reading and basic performance skills.

Theatre Step #2: Almost There (ages 11-15)
A class for the intermediate actor. The curriculum is intended to develop the art of cold readings for theatre auditions; further development of character via studies of voice and movement; the beginnings of script analysis and marking; confidence-building exercises; improvisation.

Let's Sing! Step #1 (ages 7-10)
A class designed for beginning, intermediate and advanced singers who want to learn how to read music for auditions and call-backs. The curriculum includes; the language of music, basic theory and development of sightreading skills.

Let's Act! "The Middle" (ages 8-13)
A class for the intermediate actor. The student must have had some theatre training. The curriculum is intended to develop the art of cold readings for theatre auditions; further development of character via studies of voice and movement; the beginnings of script analysis and marking; confidence-building exercises; improvisation. Let's Act! Almost to the Top (ages 14-18)
A class for the older, more advanced student. The skills needed for successful auditions, rehearsals, and performances are addressed. Students will learn how to choose appropriate audition materials including monologues and musical selections; study the theatrical code of ethics expected during auditions, rehearsals and performances. Audition strengths and weaknesses will be discussed with the student. A conservatory-style showcase will be presented at the end of the semester. For additional information, call 806-371-2920.

For Adults Only: I just Love the Theatre!
A class designed for the adult actor ages 19-80, who is either discovering theatre for the first time or has loved and worked in theatre for years and years. Curriculum included: scene studies; script reading and analysis; character development; rehearsal and performance skills; development of public speaking skills throught theatre.
