Seniors’ never stop learning at Amarillo College, which offers a range of popular classes created solely with our senior citizens in mind. From painting and woodcarving to dancing and yoga, AC Seniors’ College serves up fun for folks at all levels of expertise.
Arts & Crafts
From Drawing and Watercolor to Woodcarving and Knitting, Amarillo College puts a premium on creativity for Senior artisans. Learn how to paint using water colors, or give basic woodcarving a try.
In the Drawing and Watercolor class, you will use a variety of subjects and techniques in a relaxed, fun class. Students must furnish own art supplies. While in the Woodcarving Beginning/Intermediate class you will create various projects based on level of skill. Must provide own tools. Supply list will be given at first class meeting.

Fitness & Health
At Amarillo College, the Zumba Gold class takes the Zumba® formula and modifies the moves and pacing to suit the needs of the active older participant as well as those starting or restarting their journey to fitness, using zesty Latin and current music.
This class is exhilarating, easy to follow moves and most of all FUN!
