Growing impact that the Amarillo College system is making on our entire Panhandle Region:

AC has a higher student success rate than its peers with 90.7% of AC graduates employed and/or enrolled in a four-year institution the following fall.

AC trains more than 95% of the area‘s Dental Hygienists.

Amarillo College’s Presidential Scholars program provides scholarships and international travel for qualifying students.

Over 90% of the area’s Medical Laboratory Technologists receive their training at AC.

AC provides workforce training for Bell Helicopter, Pantex, Northwest Texas Healthcare System, the Texas Department of Transportation and more.

More than 2,200 area high school students are enrolled in AC’s Dual Credit program each semester.

With a Hispanic enrollment of 40.8%, AC has been designated as a Hispanic- Serving Institution (HSI) by the U.S. Department of Education.

100% of area EMTs receives their training from AC.

Annual Enrollment for traditional course programs: 11,000

Seven Area Campuses: Four in Amarillo, One in Hereford, Two in Dumas

Continuing Education Division: 26,000 area residents participate in business and professional training
