Scholarship Types

Which scholarship should I apply for?

Scholarships change lives, drive the spirit, and guide the minds of generations of Amarillo College students so they can affect the world in productive and inventive ways.

Scholarships are a great way to help pay for college and are one of many ways that you can fund your education. The Amarillo College Foundation awards scholarships on the basis of academic merit, leadership/participation, and financial need or any combination of these guidelines.

* The AC Foundation strives to help as many students with scholarships as we can, but we receive more scholarship applications than we have funds to award. No student is guaranteed a scholarship. Some scholarships can be awarded for a maximum of six consecutive semesters (fall and spring only).

General Scholarships

Scholarships are given to students in all areas of study at Amarillo College.

All of the scholarships administered by the AC Foundation are selected from the AC Foundation's online general scholarship application form. This makes the process easier for the student and allows the student to be reviewed for all available scholarships.
