Generous Gifts

The Amarillo Foundation received a pair of monetary gifts in February that will energize and enhance Amarillo College summer camps for kids in the Texas Panhandle. 
 
The Valero Energy Foundation presented the AC Foundation with $10,000 from its Benefit for Children Fund, money to be designated for scholarships to ACs Kids College, especially the Step into your Future Camps this summer. 
 
And Xcel Energy presented $13,000 to ACs Hereford Kids College fund, a gift that provides the College with the wherewithal to upgrade STEM Camp offerings in Hereford through the purchase of new IPads, Sphero Robotics, and other equipment instrumental to STEM activities. 
 
The AC Foundation is gratified by these generous contributions to area youth activities.
