Safety and Environmental Technology

Amarillo College offers a wide variety of risk management/safety classes. Courses range from Fall Protection and OSHA standards to Introduction to Safety Management, Confined Space, HAZCOM, H2S Certification, CPR/First Aid, Blood-Borne Pathogens and many more. Class can range from 4 hours to 40 hours in duration. All students receive CEUs after completion

Amarillo College receives a generous grant from Texas Mutual Insurance to offer free safety training to the general public. These classes help address the safety training needs of the construction, manufacturing and other industries.
