EMT Certificate (CE.EMSP)

This program is designed for students wanting to earn a continuing education (CE) certificate in addition to completing the didactic, laboratory, clinical, and field internship requirements for certification through the Texas Department of State Health Services (DSHS) as an Emergency Medical Technician. Successful completion also meets eligibility requirements for the National Registry of EMTs Emergency Medical Technician examination process.

EMT Certificate (Academic College Credit)

This program is designed for students who wish to college academic credit in addition to completing the academic, clinical, and field internship requirements for certification through the Texas Department of State Health Services (DSHS) as an Emergency Medical Technician. Successful completion also meets eligibility requirements for the National Registry of EMTs Emergency Medical Technician examination process.

 


AEMT Certificate (EMSP.CERT.AEMT)

This program is designed for students who wish to earn a Certificate of Completion in addition to completing the academic, clinical, and field internship requirements for certification through the Texas Department of State Health Services (DSHS) as an Advanced Emergency Medical Technician. Successful completion also meets eligibility requirements for the National Registry of EMTs Advanced Emergency Medical Technician examination process.

Paramedic Certificate (EMSP.CERT)

This program is designed for students who wish to earn a Certificate of Completion in addition to completing the academic, clinical, and field internship requirements for certification through the Texas Department of State Health Services (DSHS) as a Paramedic. Successful completion also meets eligibility requirements for the National Registry of EMTs Paramedic examination process.

Associate in Applied Science (EMSP.AAS)

This program is designed for students who wish to earn an Associate in Applied Science degree in addition to completing the academic, clinical, and field internship requirements for Licensed Paramedic through the Texas Department of State Health Services (DSHS). Successful completion also meets eligibility requirements for the National Registry of EMTs Paramedic examination process.
