Theory, operation, diagnosis of drivability concerns and repair of ignition, and fuel delivery systems. Use of current engine performance diagnostic equipment. May be taught with manufacturer specific instructions.

Cover Computer Systems Fundamentals such as inputs and outputs and mode of operation.
MODULE 2:
On-Board Diagnostics and Scan Tools. How to read trouble codes and how to activate on-board diagnostics. Covered will be use of code charts and erasing trouble codes.
TEST no. ONE
MODULE 3:
Computer System Service such as diagnosing sensor operation and servicing PCM's
Fuel injection diagnosing and servicing, which includes drive cycles and Pressure testing.
TEST No. TWO
MODULE 4:
Fuel tanks, pumps, lines and filters, with Injection Diagnosis and Repair.
Which involves repairing and replacing a fuel lines and other fuel supply components. Perform JOB SHEET No. 166 Test and replace fuel supply components. Perform JOB SHEET No. 167 service a throttle body. JOB SHEET No. 168 Testing the IAC system. JOB SHEET No. 170 Perform an injector balance test and JOB SHEET No.171 Removing and replacing an injector.
