End-of-Course Outcomes: As outlined in the learning plan, apply the theory, concepts, and skills involving specialized materials, tools, equipment, procedures, regulations, laws, and interactions within and among political, economic, environmental, social, and legal systems associated with the occupation and the business/industry; and will demonstrate legal and ethical behavior, safety practices, interpersonal and teamwork skills, and appropriate written and verbal communication skills using the terminology of the occupation and the business/industry.

Most of assignments and exams will be submitted online.
The student will also need access to the internet and Blackboard Learning for other resources needed during the semester.

In order to receive your AC Connect Email, you must log in through AC Connect at https://acconnect.actx.edu .
If you are an active staff or faculty member according to Human Resources, use "Exchange". All other students, use "AC Connect (Google) Email".
Students are expected to display respect and courtesy at all times in class and on line to fellow students and instructors.

Grading:
Late work and make-up assignments/exams are up to the instructor’s discretion. Most likely after a module closes, late work and make-up work will not be accepted. However, if permission is granted, assignments will lose 20% of their original value each day an assignment is late.
This is a lecture course supported online with Blackboard for class and weekly completion of all discussion forums and chapter quizzes. These are expected to be completed on time, on line each week.
The online portion of the class will run from Monday 6 am to Sunday evenings at 11:59 pm. That means, all course work for that particular module will be due at 11:59 pm on Sunday evenings. I understand that life happens and there are emergencies that come up, however, you have an entire week to complete the homework, so please don’t wait until the last minute to start your homework for the week.
Discussion forums will not be available to post to after the date/time deadline. Please read carefully and be aware of when things are due.
Each module will open on schedules dates and remain open until the end of the course; however, work should be submitted by due date. See note at end of this regarding late work. All work for the week/module is due by 11:59 pm on Sunday nights. This is a lecture course supported with online assignments and exams. Complete weekly learning activities and exams over course content.
Attend the scheduled in class meetings for the co-existing course CDEC 1294 as indicated in the schedule and actively participate in discussions.
Keep in mind that grades are not given. Grades are earned based on student performance. Please note the requirements for earning the grade you desire and act accordingly throughout the semester. If you complete the coursework in a timely fashion, there isn’t a reason for you not to successfully complete this course.
